Per-split descriptor passed to RangeAwareFormatReader.readAll(java.util.List<org.elasticsearch.xpack.esql.datasources.spi.RangeAwareFormatReader.SplitRef>, java.util.List<java.lang.String>, int). Carries the storage object together with the byte range [offset, offset+length) that identifies the row groups belonging to this split within the file.
